During a joint military exercise with the U.S. in Pocheon, South Korea, a South Korean KF-16 fighter jet mistakenly dropped eight MK-82 bombs outside the designated area, injuring seven civilians, four seriously, and damaging property including a church and two houses. The South Korean military has expressed regret, launched an investigation, and pledged to compensate for the damages.
